Alessia Andò and Francesca Scarabel organize the minisymposium Mathematical advances in epidemic modeling with heterogeneity and delays, including the talk

• On the numerical computation of \(R_0\) in periodic environments (Simone De Reggi).

Simone De Reggi and Davide Liessi organize the minisymposium Numerical methods for biological systems with structure, delays and uncertainty, including the talks

• Sparse identification of a distributed delay model for a tick-borne disease (Muhammad Tanveer),
• Functional Euler methods for stochastic delay differential equations (Faraz William).

Francesca Scarabel, together with Ábel Garab (U. Szeged), organizes the minisymposium Delay differential equations in biology, including the talks

• Extracting tent maps from the Mackey–Glass attractor (Davide Di Lenarda),
• Bistability and complex bifurcation diagrams generated by waning and boosting of immunity (Francesca Scarabel).
